Pastor Ryan Thomas
Ryan Thomas, 43, was born and raised in suburban New Orleans in a loving Baptist home. At age twenty, the Lord gloriously saved him one Sunday night in his mother’s kitchen, bringing him from mixed trust in his own righteousness and Christ to faith in Christ alone. A trained musician, he earned his degree at William Carey University and was ordained to gospel ministry in October 2012. For years he has served as a co-vocational pastor while teaching full-time vocal music in schools, with passions for discipleship and evangelism. Through a school mentorship programme, the Lord also gave him one son. A proud member of Sinfonia, the nation’s oldest music fraternity, he is currently writing a book, praising the legacy and reputation of his late fraternal brother, Fred Rogers of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.
